Certain items are required to perform the Navratri pooja - A picture of Goddess Durga, Durga Sapthashati book, water in Kalash, fresh and washed mango leaves, one coconut, roli, moli (red sacred thread), rice, paan (betel leaves), supari (beetle nuts), cloves, cardamom and kumkum (vermilion).
